Jasmine "Jazz" Fenton: Danny's older sister. Due to her cherished goal of being a psychologist, Jazz has a bad habit of getting into people's personal space. Viewing herself as the most rational and normal member of the family, Jazz often plays a surrogate parental role to Danny, thinking he is a naive child in need of guidance
	Jack Fenton: Danny's dad; is the most obsessed with ghost-hunting. He jumps into action before thinking and can make a bad situation even worse. While he is an adequate fighter and holds a great deal of courage, he can often be clumsy and incompetent.
Maddie (short for Madeline) Fenton: danny's mom; is an accomplished ninth-degree martial artist, who serves as Jack's partner and equal inventor of Fenton Anti-ghost gadgets. She is more down-to-earth then her husband and often supports or keep her husband from getting into trouble or harm. Vlad Masters has been in love with her for twenty years and has spent time trying to win her heart.
	Tucker "Tuck" Foley: Danny's best friend (since forever), He remains the most lighthearted of the trio and often cracks jokes. He often believes he is a ladies' man much to his failure. Gifted with technological knowledge, Tucker often helps by using his PDA to hack into computers and machinery. Tucker is easily corrupted by his vice and gets jealously quickly, often feeling inferior to Danny and Sam.
Samantha "Sam" Manson: She is a deadpan goth who doubles as an environmentally concerned "ultra-recyclo vegetarian". Her parents are extremely wealthy, having inherited from their famous inventor ancestor, though she briefly kept it a secret from her friends to avoid "fake friendships". She and her parents often clash due to their opposite differences. She secretly like Danny, but tries not to show it or say anything. Little does she know, he likes her back. But they both dont know each other likes each other.
	Vlad Masters/Plasmius: is the primary antagonist of the series. A rich, debonair billionaire, Vlad is a powerful half ghost who's twenty years of experience constantly one-ups Danny's abilities. He vows to kill Jack for "stealing" Maddie whom he loves. He also has goals to obtain Danny as a his son and later, torment him after one too many rejections. Vlad is a devious man whose exterior charm hides a manipulative interior. He is sneaky and often uses the people he knows as pawn to get what he wants. He reminds clever and intelligent throughout.

Danny's Foe's

	Plasmius: Vlad Masters as an evil ghost who goes after Danny to kill him. He tried once to make clones of Danny, but was unsucessful. Instead, created Dani Phantom, a girl version of Danny Phantom.
Lunch Lady Ghost: The Lunch Lady Ghost was Danny's first major opponent. Presumably having worked in Casper High's cafeteria, the Lunch Lady Ghost takes no pleasure in seeing the cafeteria's mostly meat-based menu changed for any reason whatsoever. She broke through the Ghost Zone (thanks to the Fenton Portal) and terrorized the school and Sam Manson, seeing that she changed the menu to ultra-recyclo-vegetarian. She was the first ghost captured in the Fenton Thermos by Danny.
	Box Ghost: The Box Ghost is a rather comical ghost who, despite numerous shouts of "Beware!" is not as threatening as he intends to be. He loves to say his catchphrase: "I am the Box Ghost! Beware!" and is usually too busy shouting out his name or incompetent to actually cause damage. The Box Ghost's greatest weakness is the fact that he is not very bright and constantly misjudges his rather meager abilities, seeing them as bigger than they are. Incompetent in battle and serving more as a joke to Danny's team then anything else, he has his rare moments when he sees his own victories.
Skulker: Is a ghost who introduces himself as a great predator. First appearing in "One of a Kind", Skulker hunts down rare and unusual items, and he fancies himself as a collector of all things rare and unique. His primary goal is to one day capture Danny Phantom. He wears high-tech battle armor and is often seen in the services of Vlad Plasmius. Inside the supersuit, he's a small green ghost with short arms and legs and a squeaky little voice.
